THE LAUNCH: WunderWorkshop Turmeric Organic Food Lands at Content

wunderworkshop_both_blog

We’ve made no secret of the fact that turmeric is one of our must-haves for natural beauty and wellbeing from the inside out!

A few of our favourite ways to use it? In the kitchen, we like to add it to curries and to our juice. We also like it topically: a centuries old remedy hailing from Asia, the home of turmeric, is to us it as a face mask to help reduce inflammation: from acne to eczema. Try this #ContentApproved DIY mask recipe and mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric, 1 of raw organic honey and 1 of milk (or natural yoghurt) and leave on for 20 minutes.

So you can imagine why we became slightly obsessed with WunderWorkshop’s products. Set up by Tom and Zoe, Wunderworkshop products are inspired by Ayurveda – the Science of Life – which uses functional ingredients to maximise life’s potential, enabling to live life better. Their aim is one that we can get behind at Content: to educate people about food as a tool to enrich our bodies and to change attitude from curing disease to preventing it.

To our delight, WunderWorkshop have extended their range to include even more turmeric goodness: enter the WunderWorkshop Golden Turmeric Tea – a refreshing and vibrant tea blend made with turmeric root from a small independent farm in Sri Lanka, combined with ginger, lemongrass and cinnamon. Just our immunity-boosting tea of choice for the colder months!

When we feel more like having a latte, nothing beats the WunderWorkshop Instantly Golden in our books. This smooth, creamy drink is blended with organic black pepper and coconut milk powder to ensure each sip releases the turmeric’s maximum potential. Just add hot water, stir et voilà – sweet deliciousness in a cup! It’s a staple at the #ContentHQ, so much so that we’ve been perfecting our favourite version. If you’re a sweet tooth, try adding a dash of almond milk and a natural sweetener like coconut blossom sugar or date sugar. Trust us – it’s the idea afternoon pick-me-up.

As turmeric fans, we were also excited to launch WunderWorkshop Organic Turmeric Root Powder: a single-origin, organic powder, sustainably harvested from Sri Lanka.

Both products are packaged in eco-friendly and recyclable bottles to help minimise environmental impact. They are available to purchase online and instore. For more information about the brand, read our interview with WunderWorkshop founder Zoe here.
