December 2nd-31st December: Winterville – An East London alternative to Hyde Park’s yearly Christmas fair, Winterville, popping up at Victoria Park this month, promises to ‘re-boot’ the typical offerings of the conventional Christmas festival. Boasting a host of ‘cultural collectives’ and entertainment including horse-drawn carriages, street food and drink, a ‘magical’ outdoor ice rink, Ferris wheel and even an indoor roller disco, if you’re looking to avoid the massive crowds in central London but still want to get your fix of Christmas cheer, this is the place to go. www.winterville.co.uk

December 4th: Pure Taste Opening – If you’re anything like us, you will have been counting down the days until the opening of London’s first Paleo restaurant Pure Taste for month’s now. December 5th – 7th December: British Yoga Festival – Showcasing a host of workshops, classes and demonstrations, Yoga Magazine is hosting the first ever British Yoga Festival this month. With a line up of globally renowned teachers and a range of stalls and activities covering everything from Ayurveda, diet and nutrition to green living and meditation, for all our yoga lovers out there, this festival is not to be missed. www.yogamagazine.com

December 6th: Christmas Wreath workshop – Here at Content we love a hand-made wreath, especially when we can make one whilst enjoying a warm glass of mulled wine and festive treats! All that and more will be provided at the Hawkhurst Vault’s Afternoon Tea and Christmas Wreath Workshop where attendees will use branches, berries, cinnamon and pine to construct their Christmassy creations. www.hawkhurstvault.com

December 11th: Pilates, Prosecco and Mince Pies – This month Secret Urban Escapes are hosting their first ever Christmas party in a converted railway arch in Hoxton (exact location revealed closer to the date). Led by one of our favourite Pilates teachers Chloe Hodgson, the event will include a dynamic Pilates class followed by a healthy meal, chilled Prosecco and mince pies. December 12th: A Winter Wellness Day Charity Event – Teaming up to bring to us a day of Winter Wellness, Deliciously Ella, Punch Foods, 26 Grains, Livia’s Crumbles and Imbibery will be hosting a delicious day of Winter Wellness and all for a good cause. Providing a healthy lunch made by the girls and a spin class followed by a Q&A session with Ella and Madeleine, the event will raise money to provide food for a homeless shelter over the Christmas period. www.deliciouslyella.com

13th December: Brook Green Market & Kitchen – Planning an ethical and sustainable Christmas this year? December 14th: Ethical Fashion Brand COSSAC launch – We love the witty ‘For the Soul’ range of slogan Organic cotton tees and sweats by this new brand.
