Thanks to an ever-expanding network of entrepreneurs, scientists and niche beauty bloggers, (amongst others) we have easy access to some of the world’s best green beauty brands. So every year, it is up to the The Natural Beauty Yearbook to give recognition to the top 25 influencers who are shaping the organic beauty industry.

The Natural Beauty Yearbook Awards are a Who’s Who of influential personalities within the industry, voted for by the industry and include new faces, alongside established pioneers. The 2014 list, which has just been released, is no different. It included:

  • Janey-Lee Grace: Writer and presenter Grace took the top spot as long-time advocate of natural, organic and holistic products and services. With her role as a guest presenter on BBC Radio 2’s Steve Wright in the Afternoon show and the continuing success of her Janey Loves recommendations, Grace has helped make natural beauty accessible to everyone.
  • Lou Dartford: New entry Dartford is a make-up artist, blogger and all around purveyor of organic beauty. As one of the first UK make-up artists to green wash her kit she has spent the past few years ‘sneaking’ natural and organic products onto the faces of musicians, models and actors with her work in the fashion and music industy and converting them one by one. We have been lucky enough to collaborate with her throughout the years during the ‘Make Up Masterclasses’ held  in our store, where she answered all your beauty conundrums.  We’re excited to announce that there will be more to come, so look out for new masterclasses launching in the new year!
  • Sarah BrownPai Skincare founder Brown is honoured for the high quality and integrity of her products, which are at the forefront of organic skincare. Brown founded the range after suffering from a skin allergy and not being able to find natural and gentle results. The rest is history! Pai is a brand that we have believed in since their launch in 2007. In fact we go way back, having stocked their products for the past five years.
  • Imelda Burke: Last but not least is our very own owner and founder, who has been listed since 2012. As a leading boutique, website and holistic and organic treatment hub, Content Beauty is praised for paving the way for organic skincare and beauty in the UK, becoming a destination for organic skincare lovers. Burke is also The Telegraph’s Green Beauty Blogger. Stay up to date with her columns on natural beauty here.

Congratulations to all those who made the 2014 hotlist!
