My grandma took me to the hairdressers for a 21st birthday hair cut and dye, i said to the hairdresser who had lovely brown hair with a hint of red and highlights that id love mine the same colour.Anyways after agonising waiting she had finished, i was shocked my hair was patchy and bright i mean bright red!! i hate to upset people so i said its okay. I suppose i couldv’e blamed my grandma for taking me to her ‘favorate’ hairdressers but i didnt need to, she had enough red towels by the end of my stay that i think the point was made!

the 1st time ever i knew what hair style i wanted so armed with my magazine i trotted into my hairdressers, i like this but a bit shorter at the back please, i should have knowen when my hairdresser took her glasses of 2 study the page closer somthing was up. i ended up with a ear lenth bob fine if u have straight hair but mine is a curly mass..i looked like a loo brush..when i complained she said i can add some layers if you like

Never go into a hairdressers holding a crash helmet or wearing leather trousers. I made this mistake when I was a student. I asked for a trim and came out looking like Suzi Quattro. My hair was huge, with short layers and an even shorter fringe. At least 10 years out of date. Luckily I suit hats.
