New Launch – Content: Skin Nutrition Treatments

SKIN NUTRITION

Struggling to figure out what’s causing your ongoing skin concerns? Combining the best from the worlds of nutrition and organic beauty, the new CONTENT: Skin Nutrition Treatments aim to treat stubborn skin problems from both the ‘inside’ and ‘outside’.

Here at Content we believe that whilst external factors certainly play a part in the healthy skin equation, the foundation of healthy skin really does begin within, and we’re not the only ones to adopt this mindset. Studies have shown that nutritional status plays an important role in the maintenance of healthy skin, with macro-nutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids) and micro-nutrients (vitamins and nutritionally essential minerals) work together synergistically to maintain optimum skin health.*

With this at the core of our holistic skincare philosophy, we have developed a range of treatments that take into account the physiological causes that may explain  a particular skin condition. With treatments created to introduce how nutrition and lifestyle considerations can clear, soothe and nourish skin, these treatments are ideal for people who want an overview of the most common causes of skin conditions.

Below is a brief overview of each treatment currently available:

  • Skin Clear – designed for spot prone skin. The nutritional overview explains the underlying hormonal and lifestyle choices that may exacerbate this skin type, followed by a thirty-minute Dr Alkaitis Skin Food Facial for deep cleansing and reducing inflammation in the skin.
  • Skin Soothe – designed for reactive and sensitive skin types and suitable for Rosacea and Eczema suffers. This nutritional overview explains the internal inflammatory response that may trigger sensitivities or flare-ups, helping to keep them under control. This is followed by a thirty-minute Pai Skincare Facial to calm the skin.
  • Skin Nourish – ideal for dry or mature skin types this nutritional overview explains what may be the cause of chronically dry skin and gives a nutritional guide for healthy ageing. Includes a thirty-minute Tata Harper Collagen Stimulating Facial.

In addition to an overview and facial, you will walk away with a handy shopping list of ‘Foods to Enjoy’ and ‘Foods to Avoid’ and supplement suggestions catered to your skin type, as well as lifestyle tips and a skin specific juice or smoothie recipe to complement your recommended topical skincare regime.

So whether you’ve noticed a recent change in your skin and are struggling to pinpoint the cause, have been diagnosed with a skin condition and would like to explore lifestyle–based techniques that could be of help or would simply like to combine dietary considerations with your topical skincare regime, book in for a treatment and we’ll show you how to feed your skin from within.

Special Offer: Book your treatment before the end of November and quote ‘Content Treat’ at booking to receive £20 off your treatment.
