Know Your Wine

Here at Content we are passionate about educating ourselves and others on the origins of our skincare, home-ware, food, clothing and all that’s in between which is why the book ‘Natural Wine’ by Isabelle Legeron is a vital part of the #contentkitchen cookbook collection. With many conventional wines exposed to pesticides in vineyeards and sulphites and additives in cellars, Legeron offers us an alternative, exposing us to the natural, sustainably farmed and additive-free alternatives fermented from organic or bio-dynamic grape juice, just as nature intended. With an introduction to over 140 of the best natural wines to try, if you do enjoy the odd glass or two this guide is essential. www.rawfair.com

Waste Not, Want Not

With 7 million tonnes of edible food and drink thrown away each year, according to Love Food Hate Waste, an initiative founded to raise awareness of the need to reduce food waste, encouraging us to take action by employing some practical tactics to ultimately lead to less waste, less cost and a better environment. For ideas, inspiration and to find out more visit there website here – www.england.lovefoodhatewaste.com

Sea-Bathing Machine

Inspired by heritage Margate’s sea bathing machines, Haekel’s have fused this age-old invention with a state of the art sauna and treatment room to create a mobile spa experience with the sea acting as a plunge pool. Designed to create interesting jobs for local practitioners, we love this idea and think we should all pledge to their Kickstarter account now – only 6 days to go!
