One of our favorite beauty blogs, The Beauty Shortlist, will be five years old this Summer and to celebrate we chatted to founder and Beauty Journalist Fiona Klonarides, who set out to offer an objective honest ‘best of beauty’ edit of the products and brands she has tried. We asked Fiona to share her five #greenbeauty favourites for our Summer Wellbeing Festival

Fiona-Klonarides-Content-1RMS Lip2Cheek in Smile ‘There’s a lot in this pot! A Festival essential, these natural coconut, beeswax and shea-based dual lip-cheek mineral colours hydrate, protect, soothe and smooth. Six shades to choose from’.

Kure Bazaar 4-Free Nail Varnish in “Kelly” – I like this bright, fresh fuschia shade but I like the fact that it’s 4-free even more. Amazingly, Kure Bazaar’s 85% natural laquers are made from naturally-derived ingredients like wood pulp, wheat, cotton, potatoes and corn, making them my pick for a Summer eco-luxe nail fix.’

SUKI Tinted Active Moisturiser– ‘If there’s a silkier, more flawless, lightweight tinted moisturiser on the planet, I haven’t found it yet! SUKI’s Tinted Active Moisturiser became my summer staple three years ago. It blends beautifully and glides on but doesn’t leave your face looking too naked…a bit like a cool, sheer T-shirt, but for your face.’

Therapi Orange Blossom Gel Cleanser – ‘I could not love this fresh, lightly foaming skin-balancing cleanser by Therapi more! It’s perfect after a long hot day outside and full of good things like Aloe, Sweet Orange, Sea Buckthorn, Lavender, Bergamot, Yucca and of course – as you’d expect from this new British bee-beauty brand – honey, which is ideal for my normal skin.’

Therapie Himalayan Detox Bath Salts – ‘I honestly think top aromatherapist Michelle Roques-O’Neil has created something borderline magical here, with her amethyst-dusted, mineral essential oil salts . I use them as “sleep therapy” if I’ve had a stressful week. One pouch is good for about 3 baths and chances are you’ll sleep as soundly as a toddler after a day of fresh air day at the beach.’
