To continue our Great British Beauty focus for this month, we are excited to introduce AEOS to our website. This organic and natural skincare brand is made on a certified biodynamic farm in Lincolnshire, with the key ingredients being completely home-grown.
THE BRAND: AEOS skincare have developed an innovative three-phase system, which ‘amplifies and encapsulates the living energy of the natural ingredients it contains.’ The AEOS products contain natural, organic and biodynamic plant extracts, essences and essential oils as well as their unique spagyric tinctures of crystal energies, and waveforms of colour. THE INGREDIENTS: The source of ingredients is of the utmost importance to AEOS, with most of the ingredients used, grown on AEOS’s own biodynamic certified farm, Shire Farm. AEOS believes that this method is what gives the plants ‘vitality’ and ‘a profound positive effect on the raw materials produced.’ The products range form 74% – 97% organic plant content. All of AEOS products contain pure biodynamic Spelt Oil, an ancient cousin of modern wheat that features a host of beneficial nutrients and proteins. Spelt Oil, rich in Vitamin E is readily absorbed into the skin, contains beneficial EFA’S and ‘boasts excellent antioxidants, moisturising and regenerative properties.‘ As a result of its nourishing and healing properties, it is very beneficial for those with dry skin, as well as help to improve appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and protect the skin against environmental toxins, and extreme changes in temperature. It can also benefit those who suffer with skin conditions such as eczema.
WE LOVE: The 100% natural, Biodynamic Nail and Cuticle Oil – a rich and protective formula which has been developed by AEOS to replenish nails and help soften the cuticles. Enhanced with the addition of energy-giving Rose Quartz and Clear crystal gem essence, this oil has been made my love and intention, using a nourishing blend of biodynamic Poppy, Spelt Oil and Sunflower Oil, and extracted using supercritical C02 extraction in order to maintain the full properties of the oils. We have been using the nail and cuticle oil daily to help to protect and nourish nails and found it particularly useful for nails and cuticles that are prone to cracking or are dry and damaged.
Another favourite at Content, is the AEOS Dew Facial Wash which has been made from a mild blend of organic and essential oils, plant extracts and the energies of gems and crystals. This gentle cleansing wash helps to relax the skin for easier absorption of the plant extracts, whilst the organic essential oils such as neroli and lemon, condition and hydrate the skin, leaving a healthy, refreshed and glowing appearance. For best results, we like to use the Dew Facial Wash to gently open the pores and to prepare the skin for the Refreshing Hydrating Mist and Enriching Moisturiser.
HOW TO USE: AEOS products are designed to be used together as a complete skincare solution. For best results, apply AEOS products onto damp skin and use a gentle circular motion and light patting on the skin. To ensure the correct sequence of AEOS products allow each product to be received by the skin and penetrate to deeper layers within the skin structure – this will maximise the benefits. All AEOS products are highly concentrated, therefore a little goes a long way – use sparingly.
HERO PRODUCT: In the AEOS range, it was the Realive Serum – made from a luxurious blend of organic and biodynamic essentials oils and plant extracts, this intensive serum left my skin feeling hydrated and moisturised. The key active ingredient, hyaluronic acid, helped to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, whilst the use of essentials oils such as lavender and rose, not only made it smell divine but also helped to even out my skin-tone, leaving me with a brighter and healthy complexion. The gentle and nourishing ingredients used in the serum, also made it a great alternative to eye cream and helped to reduce puffiness and smooth fine lines around the eye. I found that the serum worked well after using the Refreshing Hydrating Mist to increase the moisturising benefits.
